Uses : It is a standard hot work tool steel with high thermal conductivity and abrasion resistance. It is widely used in injection molds of light metals, hot cutting knives, molds where some non-ferrous metals are forged, aluminum profile molds and metal extrusion presses. The surface of this material, which has high impact resistance, can be hardened by nitration process.
